Fear is a Liar

I know I usually post on my blog on Saturdays but I was sitting here this morning feeling like I have absolutely nothing to say. Hard to believe I know! Tim was out in the kitchen and had the music playing and the song “Fear Is a Liar” by Zach Williams came on. If you haven’t heard it, I highly recommend giving it a listen. It reminded me of the lies Mikael sometimes believed about himself as an addict and how it broke my heart. He was so special and beautiful but there were times when I know he felt ashamed and unworthy. These are such lies that I know God does not want us to hold in our hearts. Mikael was loved and cherished by the Lord and so am I and so are you. Today, I want to put this out there for any of you who are believing lies about yourself. They are just that – lies! You are unique and wonderfully made by God.
