The Power of Easter

As Easter approaches, I am thinking about how special this celebration is to me. The recognition of our salvation matters a great deal to me because I know that Mikael was saved. This time of remembrance of Christ’s sacrifice for us is even more personal to me now than ever before. The knowledge that I belong to God and that my life is in his hands for eternity brings me a great deal of peace. The knowledge that Mikael belongs to God and is with him now in eternity brings me even greater peace. My heart will always ache from missing him but knowing where he is surrounds that ache with a blanket of hope.
