Amazing Women

Despite the fact that the club I belong to has a forced and unasked for membership, I have met the most amazing women in it. I have some very dear friends who have lost their children and who have supported me with such love. Through publishing my book and speaking engagements, I have met several other mothers in this club who I am getting to know better. All of these women have different and unique personalities but they all have one thing in common. They step forward in their lives and carry their grief with them. They look for ways to support others despite their own pain. Every. Single. Day. These women are strong, compassionate, resilient, even when they think they are not. They are warriors! I am in awe of them!

If you know any of these moms, take time to give them encouragement whenever you get the chance. Give them a hug, bring them a coffee, a smile, sit down and have a chat. They are on a lifetime long distance endurance run and need this encouragement along their way. God uses us to help each other and you may very well be the help they need in that moment to keep stepping forward.
